In this Agreement "we" means White Living Ltd (and "us" and "our" shall be construed accordingly); and "you" means the relevant customer or potential customer as the case may be and "your" shall be construed accordingly).

1. HOW TO ORDER

Before ordering home wares, please check that the dimensions of the item/s you are ordering are suitable for the space you intend. When ordering furniture we ask you to take extra care to assess the access via all doorways, staircase turns etc. as we cannot be responsible for furniture not fitting into the desired room.

2. ORDER CONFIRMATION

When your order is received, you will be sent by us an order acknowledgement e-mail , this is not an acceptance of your order. When your order is dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a notification e-mail that your order is accepted and completion of the purchase contract has taken place.

If your order is not accepted, we will endeavor to contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. If we cannot contact you, orders will be treated as cancelled. If goods are not available from stock, we will give you a 'waiting for stock' option or if not acceptable your order will be cancelled.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, colours, finishes and prices are correct on the website on a regular basis. However, different monitors and screens vary and therefore we cannot accept responsibility for minor variations of the images on our website. Information supplied by White Living does not form part of our contract.

We endeavour to supply goods fit for purpose, however we are not responsible for manufacturing or design faults.

4. STOCK AVAILABILITY AND PRICING

You are ordering from a small and uniquely individual company and therefore we would advise customers that by the nature of the goods we sell, some items are available only on a one-off basis and others on a limited supply. Prices shown are valid for 7 days and will be confirmed on our order acknowledgement e-mail.

5. PAYMENT

Prices indicated for products include VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing rate. The cost of delivery is an additional cost (see below). We retain legal ownership of the goods until full payment is received and in the case of a refund, ownership will immediately revert back to us, once goods are received by us.

We accept payment via Sagepay which is a recognized secure payment site. Cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, American Express.

6. DELIVERY

We aim to deliver within 14 days or sooner if possible, once your order has been confirmed by e-mail. However, occasionally with furniture delivery it may take up to 28 days depending on the distance of the customer from our warehouse. We will make every effort to deliver in the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FURNITURE DELIVERIES ARE WITH ONE DELIVERY DRIVER AND DELIVERY TO YOUR FRONT DOOR ONLY. White Living delivers ONLY within the UK and Northern Island for postable items and Mainland UK only on furniture.

7. CANCELLATION

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 you may cancel your order and return unsuitable goods within 7 working days of receipt. We will make a full refund, but unless goods are incorrectly described, damaged or faulty we will require you to pay the delivery charge and cost of return postage. Goods must be returned in the original packing and unused. We suggest you use 'recorded delivery' via the Royal Mail.

If you receive items which are faulty, damaged or otherwise incorrect through our error, please notify us immediately and return them to us with full details of fault, order date and invoice: please specify whether you require a refund or replacement item. Where a refund is requested we will refund the full purchase price of the product, including delivery charge, within 14 days of your notification.

In the event of a 'Special Order', a refund will not be given once the order has been accepted by ourselves and payment has been taken.

Refunds will only be made to the card used at the time of purchase, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

8. RETURNS

If you decide that an item needs to be returned for whatever reason, we would ask that you inform us by e-mail at shop@white-living.co.uk within the stated time period in our 'Cancellations' section 6. Please supply details of your purchase ie stock number, description,price paid and reason for the return.

9.GENERAL INFORMATION

All measurements of products are approximate. We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free and we cannot be held responsible for events arising by use of the internet, that are beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, or withdraw products from the website without any prior notice. In addition, from time to time we may need to change our terms and conditions and it is the customers responsibility to regularly check the conditions and if you do not agree with any amendments, then to stop using the website immediately.

9. PRIVATE DATA

When you place an order with Vintage Living or agree to go on our mailing list, you will be agreeing for us, on an occasional basis, to supply you with further information about us ie special offers etc. This information will be for the use of Vintage Living only, and is for the sole purpose of keeping valued customers up to date. You may unsubscribe at any time.
